Do you know how to use your fire extinguisher?
We see them around everywhere you go, they're even in movies and TV shows. But do you
really know how to use an extinguisher if an emergency happens?
Practice the PASS system to help you remember what to do in an emergency.
Remember that your personal safety is the number one concern during a fire. Always call for
fire department assistance and evacuate any people in the area before attempting to
extinguish a fire. If you are going to use a fire extinguisher, ensure that you have a means of
egress at all times. Keep you back to an exit.
